Manning opinions

Bradly Manning (Being a very patriotic ex-soldier, I REFUSE to use his
rank) now has his hands just as bloody as the army he claims to be
blowing the whistle on. How can you justify the murder of the
civilians that Manning has exposed while condemming the illeged
atrocities that he claims to have exposed? Welcome to the real frikken
world guys. You cant have it both ways. Manning is even worser than
the people he wants to expose. Manning an accessory to murder. Plain
and simple. And no amount of finger pointing at the Military or
”rednecks” can change that fact!

Whatever happened to Adam Yoshida?

A rather precocious young man who posted here some years back. I
always wondered if things worked out OK for him. He was very exuberant
and brassy, and I hope the journey since has been kind to him!

OT: Some Interesting Soviet Pics of WW2

Ampulomet in action, Stalingrad, 1942:
http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb212/Bob_Mackenzie/ampulomet/Ampu…

This was the only projectile firing weapon they had which fired
ampoules of phosphorous. Strange device. (Note: they also had a 70mm
tube weapon, but it was improvised and experimental. Some sites
mistakenly claim that this was the inspiration for the postwar RPG-1
which is false. The RPG came directly from the captured Pzf-150
weapons and 250 prototypes).

Soviet SN-2 body armor in WW2:

First encountered at Stalingrad, the Germans defeated it with snipers
and flamethrowers, mines, and other weapons. Japanese had them too and
the US adopted that form or body armor based on captured Japanese
armor:

Soviet dog mine:

Most were trained with Soviet tanks and most attacked their own tanks
as a result!!! German anti-tank dogs were trained to place charges and
were called back. Many received the Iron Cross!!! Other White
Shepherds were used in N Africa:

Any Japanese Tanks Encountered during WW2 and Attacked by Aircraft?

The Japanese had a variety of small tanks deployed in the Empire but I
don’t recall any ATG attacks on them. Japan also was building a few
super heavy tanks:

I think that thing would stand out and be an easy target ;)
