CYBER-FRIENDS at R-A-M

Fellow members, I am confident that I can secure your assistance.
Sympathy Card:    Disabled and Homebound; I’m even willing to exploit
myself for the CAUSE. Please check   out www.rickaddsite.blogspot.com
and/or groups.google.com/group/rickcosmos-eclectic and/or /group/nasa-
our-way Featured article should CAUSE you to join the CAUSE as
regards saving NASA and restoring it as the main technological engine
of our economy. I
hope that you will consider involvement.

I would also appreciate your ideas regarding replacing Space Shuttle
with operational   drone- and manned-version of Air Force X-37B (It is
reasonable to assume that these programs are further a long then we
are being led to believe) as opposed to being dependent on Russia whom
we beat in Moon Race to take as to OUR Space Station (we footed most
of the bill) on their timetable at an astronomically high price tag or
our banker – China. We are cognizant of present problems concerning
SpaceX, as well as, the
constitutionality, socialistic nature and other drawbacks of gov
involvement in private sector.

I would like your comment on drone-Orion and X-37B (when operational)
with respect to
GPS discussed at sites named above. Further, has anyone found out what
type of company DAIR or  its connection with Aurora.

Aboard Orion, Rick.

Alexa Rating

i70west.com     455,220

The lower the number the better.  Google is rated at 1.

greyfalcon change in visits last month +50,489  Change in Traffic
Rank over the trailing 1 month period (A positive change means
the site is getting less popular)  The site is losing viewers
very fast.  If it weren’t for the DE crowd, the site would be
well below most sites including the "I Luv Me" sites.
The ranking has slipped by about 75,000 in the last month and no
longer is ranked to give out stats at Alexa.

I70West has gained almost 1.5 million.  It’s still not
registering with Alexa for stats but that is coming soon.

Well, Arn’t , met and exceeded your challenge without spending

WW2 Aero engines from Russia/former USSR Republics?

The thread regarding the restored FW-190 had Eunometic mention the use
of an Allison engine to possibly restore another German fighter.

It made me wonder, given that the Russians kept the P-39 and P-63 in
service a pretty long time (some reports have the last one phased out
of service in the early 1960s) I was wondering if they have stocks of
aero engines out there, both Allisons and their own motors? Figuring
how many plans they built and if they had a tendency to park planes
and supplies out in fields like they had with old field cannons, tanks
etc., there might be a chance for some serious numbers there if there
are some boneyards full of old planes or even crated engines.

Is anyone talking with the Russians on that? It could be a massive
resource depending how much was kept around.
